Keith Johnson, of East Greenwich, RI, was charged in connection with the crash that happened at the Daley Service Center at 2 Rockwood Road on Thursday, April 19, Norfolk Police report.

Officers responded to the crash where they found the box truck dangling over the wall in the back of the parking lot.

Initial investigation determined that the truck hit a traffic island before plowing into Daley's lot, hit a gas pump and two other cars before being lifted off the ground and crashing through the fence.

The impact caused the front two tires of the truck to hang over the wall, police said. Johnson was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and was later released.

Johnson was hit with charges of operating under the influence of liquor, failure to wear a seatbelt, marked lanes violation, and negligent operation of a motor vehicle, police said.

He was arraigned in Wrentham District Court on Thursday and released on personal recognizance.
